Hi, I'm Akanksha — an Android Framework & HMI Engineer with over five years of experience building software for the automotive industry. My journey has taken me from developing system-level Android services and framework components to crafting next-generation in-vehicle experiences that millions of drivers interact with every day. Today, at Jaguar Land Rover, I focus on creating modern Human Machine Interface (HMI) experiences for Android Automotive OS, building reusable UI component libraries with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Coroutines while integrating seamlessly with vehicle data through VHAL. Before that, at Harman International, I worked deep within the Android platform, designing framework services, HAL/AIDL interfaces, and RPC mechanisms for embedded automotive systems. Beyond engineering, I'm someone who enjoys finding joy in the little things. You'll often find me experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, unwinding through yoga, creating funny content that makes people smile, or occasionally breaking into song and dance when the mood strikes. I believe the best ideas come from maintaining a balance between curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning—whether that's solving a complex technical problem or discovering a new hobby. This little corner of the internet is a glimpse into both sides of my journey: the engineer I strive to become and the person I enjoy being every day.
